WWW Wednesdays is a Bookish Meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where you answer the following three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading:
I’m about halfway done The Way to Game the Walk of Shame by Jenn Nguyen. It’s good. Not great, not terrible. The epitome of a beach read/summer read/light read. It’s a contemporary romance with a ~spin~. I was really excited to start reading it, but I may need to take a break from contemporaries again because they’re all starting to feel the same. Sigh.
The other book I’m reading right now is an ARC of Hundred Percent by Karen Romano Young. This one is a Middle Grade novel, and I like it so far. It’s about a girl, Tink, whose nickname no longer fits, and other assorted growing up stuff. The other book has kind of taken over and I think I’ve decided to finish it before I return to Tink and her story, but I’m looking forward to jumping back into Middle Grade.
Recently Finished:
Last week I finished And I Darken by Kiersten White, aka THE GREATEST BOOK EVER. Review here.
I also finished Charmed, the second book in Jen Calonita’s Fairy Tale Reform School series. It was pretty good. I don’t know if I’m going to review that on here or not, but if I do I’ll update with a link once it’s posted.
Next in Line:
As you may have noticed (if you read last week’s post), I didn’t read either of the books I thought I was going to this week. Oops. TBH, I have no idea what I’m going to read next. It’ll depend on when I finish my current reads and how I feel about what to read next then. It probably won’t be a contemporary romance, though. 🙂
That’s it for me! Did you do a WWW post this week? Be sure to link it in the comments!

I like delving into middle grade reads sometimes, so I may check out the story about Tink. I’ve never heard of Fairy Tale Reform school. My WWW
