Monthly #TBR | October 2016

HOW IS IT ALREADY OCTOBER?!

I mean don’t get me wrong- I love pumpkin spiced drinks as much as the next girl- but it feels like just yesterday it was hot and sticky and JULY. And now it’s October?! People are buying pumpkins and going apple picking and it’s cold enough that I now need a sweatshirt on when I go outside early in the morning. But you know what’s great about October? IT’S FALL! The air has this wonderful smell, everyone’s making time to read, and everything feels like it’s a fresh start.

Except for my TBR pile. While I did read several books from the list last month (yay!), I also added some. Possibly more than I read. Okay, definitely more than I read. It’s possible I may have a book problem.

Anyway, here’s what happened with my TBR last month, and what I’m hoping will happen to it this month.

/*So it turns out I completely forgot to do a September TBR! From my August list, I crossed off literally zero of my Kindle books, and only three of my ARCs. Oops. */

  1. As I Descended by Robin Talley

arcs

  1. Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine
  2. The Edge of Juniper by Lora Richardson
  3. How to Disappear by Ann Redisch Stampler
  4. TimeKeeper by Tara Sim
  5. Naming the Stars by Susan Koefed
  6. Kids of Appetite by David Arnold
  7. The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon
  8. Replica by Lauren Oliver
  9. Something in Between by Melissa de la Cruz
  10. Wendy Darling: Stars by Colleen Oakes
  11. Wendy Darling: Seas by Colleen Oakes
  12. Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
  13. The Continent by Kiera Drake
  14. The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett by Chelsea Sedoti

other

  1. The Accident Season by Moira Fowley Doyle (Paperback)

So lots of ARCs this month. I really want to catch up on all of them in the next couple of months so that when the new year starts I can re-read and finish some great trilogies (Firebird and Embassy Row!). What are you reading this month? Do we have anything in common? Be sure to let me know in the comments!

Well Wishes & Candy Fishes,

Kait 🙂
