Happy Monday! Today I’m doing two tags about getting to know the blogger behind the blog. Read on to find out a whole lot more about the Kait behind Kait Plus Books!
I’ve only done a few tags before, but I want to do more! Today I’m doing two tags both centered on getting to know more about the blogger behind the blog. Okay, time to get started!
This first batch of questions comes from Bethany at Bibliophile’s Binge. I found it on Kal’s blog Reader Voracious.
Name: Kait
Age: 27
Location: Maine, USA
Job: Library Assistant! (Children’s Room based pre-covid, more just general currently)
These are a few of your favorite things: Books? Books! and… Books! (but also singing, languages, and lemon flavored candy)
Is there a story behind your blog’s name? Yes! When I was trying to come up with a new name for this blog, I was throwing around a lot of ideas. I really liked the idea of having my name in it, so I was google searching Kait Reads, Kait Reads Books, Reading with Kait, all kinds of stuff like that to make sure that no one else had that as their name. And I’m not sure how exactly I thought of Plus, but once I did it was perfect! Not only am I Kait Plus all my Books, but I also like that I was able to work in another part of myself- plus sized! So Kait Plus Books has a double meaning and I love it!
What are you looking forward to right now? I’m listening/ half watching Penguin Teen’s Titles You Can’t Miss session right now and really enjoying it! (I was looking forward to it when I started writing this post, so that counts, right?)
Favorite Ice Cream: Mint! Just plain mint! Also I love black raspberry. 🙂
Coffee or Tea? And how do you take it? no thank you!
Favorite Thing To Do On a Rainy Day: Read! (although technically, this is my favorite thing to do regardless of what the weather is!)
Favorite Movies: Stick It, A Cinderella Story, The Princess Diaries, Pitch Perfect, Hidden Figures, Ralph Breaks the Internet
Favorite Books: Here’s my Goodreads Shelf! (because there are WAYYYYYY too many to list here)
One Item on Your Bucket List: Go to a major book festival, like BookCon or YALLFEST!
Scariest Thing You’ve Ever Done: so I am TERRIFIED of fire, like don’t even come near me with lit birthday candles on a cake TERRIFIED, and the scariest thing I’ve ever done was light a candle by myself!
Fun Fact or Two: Because of covid, my hair is currently its natural color for the first time since I was twelve! I am three days older than the internet! My favorite color is purple!
And this set of questions comes from Lauren at LaLa’s Book Reviews!
