Happy Wednesday! Originally created by Jill at Breaking The Spine, Waiting on Wednesday was adapted to Can’t Wait Wednesday by Tressa at Wishful Endings. It is a weekly meme that spotlights upcoming releases that I’m eagerly anticipating!
This week’s Can’t Wait Wednesday book publishes at the end of August, and I’m super pumped to read it! But I’m not sure when I’ll get the chance because there’s a note on it saying not to buy it on Kindle if yours is black and white (which mine is). So I guess I’ll wait and see which library gets it first! And now without any further ado, this week’s Can’t Wait Wednesday book is…

Deja and Josiah are seasonal best friends.
Every autumn, all through high school, they’ve worked together at the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world. (Not many people know that the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world is in Omaha, Nebraska, but it definitely is.) They say good-bye every Halloween, and they’re reunited every September 1.
But this Halloween is different—Josiah and Deja are finally seniors, and this is their last season at the pumpkin patch. Their last shift together. Their last good-bye.
Josiah’s ready to spend the whole night feeling melancholy about it. Deja isn’t ready to let him. She’s got a plan: What if—instead of moping and the usual slinging lima beans down at the Succotash Hut—they went out with a bang? They could see all the sights! Taste all the snacks! And Josiah could finally talk to that cute girl he’s been mooning over for three years . . .
What if their last shift was an adventure?
I loved Fangirl (although I still haven’t read Carry On) and I also loved the graphic novels I’ve read by Faith Erin Hicks! So I’m excited to read this one! What books are you really excited about reading soon? Let me know in the comments and have a splendiferous week!
Reading this book contributed to these challenges:
OMG this is the second time I’ve seen today it must be a very exciting read! I’ve read and loved Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell but I didn’t like Fangirl that much, hope this one is just as good as E & P! It sounds like a cute coming of age story! Hope you enjoy it!
This book seems like so much fun and I can’t wait to read it! Thanks for the bit about the Kindle btw.
Oooh! This looks like a cute read! Great pick!
