A Life No One Will Remember. A Story You Will Never Forget.
France, 1714: in a moment of desperation, a young woman makes a Faustian bargain to live forever and is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets.
Thus begins the extraordinary life of Addie LaRue, and a dazzling adventure that will play out across centuries and continents, across history and art, as a young woman learns how far she will go to leave her mark on the world.
But everything changes when, after nearly 300 years, Addie stumbles across a young man in a hidden bookstore and he remembers her name.
- I know this will surprise everyone, because the cover was actually NOT the first thing that drew me to this book!
- THAT DESCRIPTION. The thought of living forever, but having no one remember you?? Yeah, I’m on board for this.
- but also LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL THAT COVER IS OMG!!!
- and the reviews hint that maybe… she’s in love with a devil??? so also I’m going to comp Lucifer I guess…
- The Age of Adaline (movie)
- Lucifer (tv show)
- A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik
- The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow

ahh I also chose this book! it sounds so amazing and I already know I will be an emotional wreck reading through it. I also wasn’t drawn to it by the cover, I honestly kind of wish it had a little bit more to it, but I’m sure the story will be worth it! Great post 🙂
I have a friend who loves everything Schwab writes, and I keep meaning to give her work a try. This sounds really good! Adding this to my own wish list now! I hope you have a great week.
