Happy Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is a Bookish Meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, and this week’s theme is NEW TO ME AUTHORS I READ IN 2020!
I absolutely love looking back at my reading year and seeing all the new authors I discovered! This year’s list has THREE debut authors, and seven authors who have written books other than the ones I read. I’m really looking forward to reading all the backlists soon!
And now without any further ado, here’s this week’s Top Ten Tuesday!
I read: Books 1-5 in the Wayward Children Series!
I read: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue!
I read: How Rory Thorne Destroyed the Multiverse and How the Multiverse Got Its Revenge!
I read: Catfishing on CatNet and Chaos on CatNet!
I read: This is Not the Jess Show!
I read: Forget This Ever Happened!
I read: Girl, Serpent, Thorn!
I read: The Life and (Medieval) Times of Kit Sweetly and Lucky Girl!
I read: Lifestyles of Gods and Monsters!
I read: You Should See Me in a Crown!
What authors did you discover in 2020? Let me know in the comments and have a splendiferous week!
So many books, so little time! I hope you can stop by:

I’m glad you found so many enjoyable new authors last year.

VE Schwab is one of my favourite authors, I’m always slightly jealous of people discovering her books for the first time (there’s nothing like the experience of reading that first book by a new favourite and just knowing you’re going to love them for years to come). I also read Melissa Bashardoust for the first time last year.

I really want to read Girl, Serpent, Thorn–I want my 2021 reading to be full of f/f fantasy–and I’d like to give Naomi Kritzer’s work another try, too!

I few of those were new to me, too.
This is an impressive list of authors! I don’t think I’ve read any of them yet, but have friends who are fans. I’m glad you enjoyed their works.
I really want to read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue! Here is my Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
