Happy Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is a Bookish Meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, and this week’s theme is BOOK CHARACTERS I WOULD NAME A PET AFTER!
So fun fact, I actually have two cats who are named after characters already! My older cat, Hiccup, just turned six last week and my younger cat, Loki, is about eight months old. I really want to name the next pet I get Pepper, but after that… I think I’ll be using this list for inspiration!
And now without any further ado, here’s this week’s Top Ten Tuesday!
From Furyborn by Claire Legrand

From A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
From Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
From The Folk of the Air by Holly Black

From Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
From Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
From The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
From In Her Skin by Kim Savage
What book characters would you name your pets after? Do you already have any bookishly named pets? Let me know in the comments and have a splendiferous week!
I’d use Felicity, but after Felicity from ‘Arrow’ instead. Nice list!My TTT
I like pet names that end in “i” or “y” so I’d pick Darcy. I had a lot of fun this week creating my list because I’ve had a lot of pets named for literary charactersMy TTT List
Loki’s a cool name for a cat. 🙂 And I like Felicity too.

I love Aza. It’s so short yet pretty original I think. At least I don’t hear it very often where I’m from haha. I’d like to think I would come up with a great name, but realistically I’d probably end up naming a cat fluffy or something because I can’t decide :p

Some really cool names for pets. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/11/ttt-111720.html
Great list! Firstly, your list is so pretty, and secondly, I feel like Felicity would be such a good name for a cat.

I’ve never named a pet after a character, but this week’s topic is making me think about doing it in the future! I like the sound of Audric and Taryn, and Darcy. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Felicity would be a wonderful pet name.

I love all of those!
I can definitely picture a cat being called Felicity! Neither of my pets are named after fictional characters, we have Otis, a black labrador (named after Otis Reading) & Benjamin, a cat (no particular name influence).

I like Jude for an animal. You could sing “Hey, Jude” to it.
Hiccup and Loki! How cute is that. And Pepper, or really any of the other names you listed, would make great additions.
