WWW Wednesdays is a Bookish Meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where you answer the following three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

Right now I’m reading The Delphi Effect by Rysa Walker. So far it’s good. Not mind blowingly good, but still okay. 3.5 stars.

Recently Finished:

I just finished two books! The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet and The Epic Adventures of Lydia Bennet. THEY WERE SO GOOD! Lizzie’s story is interesting because as an LBD Seahorse, I thought I knew everything that was going on in the Bennet sisters lives for that year, but OH MY GOODNESS THERE WAS SO MUCH MORE IN HER DIARY!!! Seriously, it’s so good.

And then there’s Lydia’s story. Unlike Lizzie’s, which takes place at the same time as the vlogs, Lydia’s starts after everything happens. As such, Lydia’s is much more emotional. There was a lot that I related to, especially about messing things up, that I think made the book a much more enjoyable experience for me. Anyway, both books were spectacular, and I will have reviews up soon!

Next in Line:

I’m hoping to get back on track with reading ARC books. Probably Iron Cast by Destiny Soria or Kids of Appetite by David Arnold will be my next read.

That’s it for me! Did you do a WWW post this week? Be sure to link it in the comments!

Well Wishes & Candy Fishes,

Kait 🙂

That’s where I got it from too! It really is good. I think part of the reason I’m not loving it is because I loved the time travel aspect of her previous novels so much, and that just isn’t what this story is about. I’m hoping that by the time I finish I love the book though. Rysa Walker really is a very good author!

  1. I haven’t heard of any of these, but Kids of Appetite sounds interesting! I’ve added Mosquitoland to my tbr list 🙂

    Happy reading!

It’s funny, because I had read about Kids of Appetite somewhere and was like “Yeah, that sounds like a really cool book!” and then just … forgot about it. And then I got it as an ARC and I was so excited! I’m really excited to read it soon. Thanks for commenting! 🙂

Glad you enjoyed Lizzie and Lydia’s stories so much. It’s great when a series stays strong. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

Oh em gee, yes those books were amazing! I still wish the vlogs had gone on longer, but the books definitely made it better. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
