Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish, and this week’s theme is Top Ten Books That Have Been On Your Shelf (Or TBR) From Before You Started Blogging That You STILL Haven’t Read Yet. This is one of those times I’m glad I’ve only been blogging for a few months, because almost everything has been on my tbr list since before I started blogging! Okay, let’s look at the Top Ten (I’m really sticking to ten this week!) now:
Whew. So what’s still on your tbr list from before you started blogging? Be sure to link up in the comments!
Well Wishes & Candy Fishes,
Kait 🙂
Definitely try to make time for The Madman’s Daughter and Carry On – I loved them both. I still need to read the other two in the Shepard series, but I hope to get to them one day.
I will try! I’ve actually started them both, but I think they were library books that I had to return for someone else. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
I have a lot of these that I haven’t read yet, either! Though, I have read Rebel Belle and it was really awesome! I hope that when you do get to these that you enjoy them 🙂
My TTT.
I keep getting really excited about Rebel Belle because I loved the Gallagher Girls books by Ally Carter, and they seem similar! Thanks for commenting! 🙂
Yes! I need to read all those books, too 🙁 Especially, An Ember In the Ashes…it was a Christmas gift and now it’s August. Been a busy year, but I’m still going to ‘get to it’ soon!
That’s exactly how I feel! It was a book club book for a month that I couldn’t go, so I bought it but never read it. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
Oh my gosh, pick up An Ember in the Ashes right away! It’s one of my all time favorite books ever, so I try to encourage everyone to read it :). I also just recently picked up Before I Fall because it was available as an audio book through my library – totally heart breaking, but worth it.
Okay, that moves it right to the top of my list! I’ve heard great things about it, I just haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
I need to read The Madman’s Daughter too!!! I should have added it to my list, lol.
I’ve noticed so many books that I forgot to add by reading through everyone else’s lists today! 🙂
I’ve only read Red Queen and The Diviners from your list. I’ve actually just started Glass Sword (#2 of Red Queen). That series has been really hit and miss for me. There are parts that I love and other parts that make me cringe but I’d definitely recommend The Diviners. It’s brilliant if a bit of a scary tombstone of a book.
Great List, Happy Reading

I actually picked up The Diviners because it was such a huge book- I was going to be on a train for 22 hours the next day! I still didn’t end up finishing it, though. I’ve since bought it on my kindle in hopes that I’ll read it faster that way, but I don’t want to start the series just to wait forever for the next book. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
Ooooooooooo… This is a great list!! I absolutely adored both Red Queen and Glass Sword, although the second received mixed opinions. Rebel Belle was ok, but I was a bit disappointed, as was I underwhelmed by An Ember… I’m hoping the next book within the series will be much better!! I also have The Madman’s Daughter, The Conspiracy of Us and Before I Fall all on my Goodreads TBR! I hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them!
Wow! Thank you! Thanks for commenting! 🙂
Great list! I love Rick Riordan and have been working my way through the Percy Jackson books. The Sword of Summer is on my TBR list as well. I also still need to read Carry On and Before I Fall. I hope you enjoy all of these when you get around to them. Thanks for stopping by my TTT!
Thank you! Percy Jackson is great because once you finish the first series there’s Heroes of Olympus to get to! 🙂 Thanks for commenting!
I had Rebel Belle for a while, but then I decided that I didn’t want to read it, so I just gave it to my sister. Hopefully It is the book for you! 😀 My Top Ten Tuesday!
I actually just finished Rebel Belle and it was fantastic! (it took a while for me to reply, sorry)
Happy reading! 🙂
Great list! I have read and loved An Ember in the Ashes, Red Queen and Carry On, so I would definitely recommend them! The others are still on my TBR as well – I especially would like to get to Magnus Chase, Rebel Belle and The Diviners soon 🙂 I can read Magnus Chase after my Percy Jackson re-read/HOO binge-read 😉
I just read Rebel Belle and it was better than I expected! An Ember in the Ashes and Red Queen I’m going to wait for until the series is finished, but Carry On I really need to read soon. Happy Reading! 🙂
Ah you must read The Sword of Summer! It’s so good!

I know! Every time I start it I end up getting distracted and reading something else. 🙁 I’ll give it another try before the next book comes out! Happy reading! 🙂
Really great list!
I’ve read and loved both Rebel Belle and Red Queen. I haven’t read the last book in the Rebel Belle trilogy yet though and I will admit that RQ’s sequel was a bit of a disappointment for me. Those first books are both great though (well, at least to me haha).
A couple of these are also books I’ve been meaning to read for awhile, like An Ember in the Ashes and Before I Fall.
Thanks for stopping by my TTT!
Since posting this list I actually read all the Rebel Belle books and I loved them! The third one was much better than the second, in my opinion.
Happy reading! 🙂
Wow, I love the design of this post! My best friend has been telling me to read Carry On for ages now, but for some reason I just haven’t picked it up yet. I loved Fangirl, so I know that I’ll enjoy this one!
Great list! 🙂
Thank you! I’ve been trying out a few different things and this was one of my favorites!
Happy reading! 🙂
Magnus Chase is still on my TBR too, I’ve been meaning to get to it all summer but it never happened. The Diviners is a great read, the atmosphere is so vivid.
Thanks for stopping by The Local Muse
Every time I try to read Magnus Chase I end up getting distracted and reading something else instead. I’m going to try really hard to read it before the second book comes out!
Happy reading! 🙂
You have so many great books on your list! I really really love Before I Fall and The Diviners! I still need to read An Ember in the Ashes.
Thank you! I’m really looking forward to The Diviners! I’ve been on a bit of a “magical Jazz age” kick lately, and I think it would fit in perfectly! Happy reading! 🙂
OH. MY GOD. Red Queen is one of the most awesome books out there, and I hope you get to it ASAP! I loved An Ember in the Ashes as well, and Before I Fall was good but not great. All the others I have to read as well *hides*
Lovely List, and have a great weekend!
I think I’ll wait until all four books are out to read Red Queen. Not because it doesn’t look good, but then so I can know everything all at once. Thank you so much! Happy Reading! 🙂
